(USPW interviewer Joel Garcia is standing by again in the Sportatorium locker room with Pat Gordon, Junior. Gordon looks excited anticipating his rematch with Aric Mercury at USPW Friday Night Freedom.)
Joel Garcia: “Hello, USPW Nation! Joel Garcia here again, with another exciting interview! I’ve got Pat Gordon, Junior here with me tonight. Pat, you’ve made it clear over the last few weeks that you wanted a rematch with Aric Mercury. On USPW Freedom, you’ll finally get that chance. What are your thoughts?”
(A scowl comes over Pat Gordon, Junior’s face and he wrings his hands.)
PGJR: “Joel Garcia, everyone saw what happened at the very first USPW Freedom when Aric Mercury decided to pick up that steel chair and clobber me over the head. Now, I’ve been wanting payback ever since, and for two reasons. First, for anyone who’s never been hit in the head with a chair, I can tell you that it hurts like hell. I had a knot on my head the size of an apple for a week! Second, he robbed not just me, but all of the fans of the opportunity to have a great ending to what HAD BEEN a great match, right up until that point where Aric decided to take the easy way out. Now Aric, I get another chance to make you tap out, right here on USPW Friday Night Freedom!
”And that’s my mission, Aric, to get you into the Pat Lock, or hell even the Finger Four, and to make you tap out. My mission is to prove ONCE AND FOR ALL that I’m the better wrestler. That’s what I’m gonna do at USPW Freedom this week!”
Joel Garcia: “Well you’ll definitely get that chance, Pat! But after tonight, we all know that you’ll be in the Main Event of Wrestlecade going head-to-head with the enormous Ozeki for the USPW World Heavyweight Title! A lot of fans are saying that the USPW is just one match away from the #PGEra. How does it feel to know you’ll be in the Main Event of our very first pay-per-view?”
PGJR: “I’ve gotta tell you, it feels great. But as exciting as it is, it’s also a great responsibility. Millions of eyes around the world will be on that match when I take on Ozeki at Wrestlecade. It’ll be the perfect opportunity for me to show the whole world what the #PGEra is about. We’ve been talking about it for weeks, and I want to make one thing clear: #PGera doesn’t mean Parental Guidance; it’s not about Pandering to Gradeschoolers. It’s about Pride and Glory. It’s about Perseverance and Grit. It’s about honoring the name of my father, Pat Gordon. And while I may be massively outweighed at Wrestlecade, I’m gonna show everyone that, pound for pound, I’m the best wrestler in United States Pro Wrestling!”
(Pat Gordon, Junior gestures that the USPW World Championship will go around his waist.)
Joel Garcia: “There you have it, folks! Pat Gordon, Junior looks pumped and primed to me! This has been Joel Garcia with another exciting United States Pro Wrestling interview!”
(Fade out.)
