We find Aric Mercury who's been busting his ass all day getting ready for his semi-finals match against Cpl. Punishment. Pappy Woods takes a moment to speak with him.

Pappy Woods - Hello USPW standing with me is Aric Mercury. This Friday Mr. Mercury will be stepping in the ring with Cpl. Punishment in the semi-finals of the TV Title tournament. The winner of this contest will face the winner of the other side of the semi-finals when Blake Allen battles Billy Fletcher. So Mr. Mercury what are your thoughts headed into this match?

Aric Mercury - Well first I'd like to give out huge props to all four of us. They claim this business is for big men, yet my opponent Cpl Punishment is the biggest man left and he's just 245lbs.

Pappy Woods - That's an interesting fact.

Aric Mercury - But don't get it twisted Pappy. I have no respect for any of them. This is a business of money and fame. Not friends and allies.

Pappy Woods - I've heard that saying.

Aric Mercury - I'm sure you have. And after I beat Punishment, I'll be one more step closer to that big money match, and fame when I put my name in the USPW record books as the first ever TV Champion.

Pappy Woods - Speaking of the match. How do you feel about Punishment?

Aric Mercury - First, I'm no fool. I take no man lightly even if I know I have them out classed. But in the case of this Cpl. Punishment, I'm sure he has other things on his mind. I'm totally sure he'll be lacking focus for our match. I'm sure he's tryng to figure out how to grow eyes on the back of his heads.

Pappy Woods - You're refering to the attacks.

Aric Mercury - What else Pappy. And I honestly can't blame the guy. I mean you got a huge match coming up yet you gotta be concerned. It's just gonna be far to much for him to handle. This Friday at Freedom will be the end of the road for Punishment.

Pappy Woods - You seem sure about this.

Aric Mercury - I'd don't care who you are in this business. If you lack confidence in your ability to defeat your opponent you'll remain nothing more then a curtain jerker.

Pappy Woods - Ouch.

Aric Mercury - Just understand Paps, this is business is not for the weak, the under skilled. I of course lack none of that. And again it takes me to what I said earlier. Punishment might lack any of that either, it's just I know this match is the furthers thing from his mind. And as a result it'll be a victory for me.

Pappy Woods - Well I'd like to thank you for your time here today.

Aric Mercury - Later.

Pappy Woods - For USPW, that was Aric Mercury, I'm Pappy Woods.

[Corporal Punishment]

We see CPL. Punishment going through his old Army exercises as Andre Bling walks toward him.

Andre Bling: I'm here with the true American hero CPL. Punishment.

CPL. Punishment: Thanks for coming here to day Andre.

Andre Bling: It ain't nothing but a thing baby.

CPL. Punishment: That's good to hear.

Andre Bling: This Friday night you will face Aric Mercury in the first of the two USPW TV Title Tournament matches.

CPL. Punishment: Yes that is very true.

Andre Bling: What are your thoughts going into the match?

CPL. Punishment: Well Andre my mind is running in all directions. First I am trying to get ready for Aric Mercury and my quest to become the USPW TV Champion. I am also worried about being attacked by that no good Russian that has been trying to take me out.

Andre Bling: Aric Mercury has said the same thing about you. he believes that because you have to have eyes in the back of you head it will cost you the match.

CPL. Punishment: He is right about one thing. I will have to have eyes in the back of my head but it will not cost me the match. It will only make me better.

Andre Bling: How do you figure that?

CPL. Punishment: It will make me better because it will make me expect the unexpected.

Andre Bling: Fair enough. Did you care who you would face if you get by Aric Mercury?

CPL. Punishment: If I get by Aric. I  will beat Aric Mercury then I will go on to face either 'The Natural' Blake  Allen or 'Dynamite' Billy Fletcher. I don't care which one of them I face because I will be the USPW TV Champion. Now I have to get back to work.
